My name is Magda and I am the creator of the Lennea brand.
I feel deeply connected to a life lived in harmony with nature, without rush or excessive stimuli. I believe in surrounding ourselves with natural materials that are friendly to both our skin and the environment, as well as with high-quality products that are timeless and made to last for years — even generations.
To make clothes last longer, they need to be properly cared for and protected. Aprons are perfect for this purpose. My goal is for aprons used in everyday work or during creative activities to be just as original, exceptionally comfortable, practical, and skin-friendly as our clothing. Using such a noble fabric as linen makes an apron not only functional but also an elegant element of an outfit or everyday style.
To create them, I use high-quality Polish linen and cotton, as well as wooden buttons. The entire production process takes place in Poland in the most sustainable way possible, and some products are made to order in accordance with the principles of slow fashion.
The inspiration behind my company has always been my children. The very first apron was created for my daughter Florka, who could not tolerate any bibs. That was when I remembered my own kindergarten apron fastened at the back with pockets at the front. However, in my childhood, aprons were made from synthetic polyester fabric, which is not skin-friendly. And that is how my first linen apron model, “Kerstin,” was born.
I am also a great admirer of Scandinavian children’s literature. To this day, I love reading Astrid Lindgren’s books — full of warmth, calmness, harmony with nature, and the beauty of a natural childhood. It was the children from The Children of Noisy Village and Madicken who wore aprons to protect their clothes from getting dirty. And that is how the idea for linen aprons came to life.
I hope that my aprons will serve you and your children for many years and make everyday duties a pleasure.
